We are in sunny Horowhenua, only 1.10 hours north of Wellington and 45 minutes south of Palmerston North.
We are directly off State Highway 1 and very easy to find.

During the day, we focus on the dogs and cats in our care, meaning it can take up to one business day to get back to you. There are many ways to get in touch with us, so please feel free to choose the one that works best for you.
“Lisa and the team have been fantastic. We were nervous first time users a couple of months ago and they supported us as we handed over our precious fur babies. Our biggest worry was about how our two would behave. I talked with Lisa about our concerns and what we thought our dogs risks were. She went through their strategies for managing the different issues. They clearly know dogs and are comfortable managing groups of dogs.
How kindly they treated our concerns was a perfect reflection for how they treated our dogs – the dogs came back happy, relaxed and when we took them back next time, they happily charged in to greet the team. This confirmed for us they had a good time.
Going to Wags and hanging out with other dogs in a controlled environment has been good for our dogs. They seem more relaxed around other dogs in general which has helped my confidence in them around other dogs.
The team are experienced with big dogs which gave me confidence for our two. The kennels are well set up and our dogs stayed together in one area. As we are happy leaving our dogs there, we now have greater freedom to go away for a few days.
